I was told by an older gentleman once that if you quit learning you’re dead… I just learned a really cool trick with what appears to be old rocker box gaskets! Pretty cool, never crossed my mind. Thanks

I think you did the opposite and added pressure in order to attempt to force the oil in but I don't see why pulling a vacuum would not work as well
