I put on a Jester hat at a gas station last weekend and dropped my bike at the pump. Bent the footpeg all up. This is exactly what I needed! Cheers!

Thank you so much. I was like what the hell do I do with this spring and ball bearing? I got sick of banging my shins on my foot peg and was upset they didn't fool and fold in like the passenger foot peg so I bought some on Amazon and wasn't quite sure how to install it .your video was perfect. You explain things so well and your voice is pleasant to listen to. thank you.

@Fbomb bike life my new rear footpegs are different from yours in this video! On the back side I have 3 holes 2 are bored but no exit the only hole that's straight through is the middle one so how do I install it from here or did the send me the wrong pegs? Do you always have to grind on the exhaust side? I'm riding a FZ10 and trying to replace with some Rizoma pegs and I'd rather not use a grinder if I don't have to.

Thank you for this, wasn't sure. I don't want to spend $60.00 for one side peg from Yamaha. Crazy. Do I need to put grease or anything in the pins before installing? Like a caliper pin? Does it matter?

I don't understand why left side foot peg needs grinder. Why couldn't they make both left and right the same?
@kaseyworkman3066

Daniel Shaw one must’ve been replaced before. The OEM factory footpegs have (basically) a rivet rather than a cotter pin or circlip. So it’s easier to just cut the rivet off
@superclaw900

@@kaseyworkman3066 mine 09 was the same, the left side had the cotter pin, the right was mushroomed down and had to use a hack saw to cut it off.
