is the langsmith part important ? it is not mentioned in the quivr github documentation. However, I'm having installation issue so was wondering whether langsmith will ease the process

could you try creating videos for Bionic-GPT, Anything-llm models. those two seems to be recent and has some interesting features.

Hi, thanks for the effort to produce this video tutorial. It is one of the best teaching someone how to setup Quivr locally in a machine. I am also exploring how to setup for remote access from multiple client PCs. I tried change all localhost in the .env file to the local machine IP but the chat function is not working. Sent prompt message & log in Supabase but no reply in browser. Ollama is still running & working locally, maybe there is more changes need to modify. Are you able to come out another video demo how to do it?

Can't they just make a simple EXE file for windows users. The popularity will skyrocet 10 folds. Most of the users don't have the knowledge, time or interest to use docker, consoles and so on. That's why Obsidian is 100x more popular as a second brain app.

Hi thanks for your tutorial, it was really awesome to watch. have a doubt earlier we need to integrate Supabase project url, anon key from our supabase account in env. but you shown just logged in with project default/auth/users, don't we need to integrate those urls now in .env ?

You are welcome. Before, we were connecting the web version of supabase which is why we needed to provide different keys from the supabase website. But, now, supabase is also hosted locally and if you look into .env file all the necessary keys are there.

So what are exactly the benefits of running it locally? only no internet needed?

Privacy, free, open source models are other reason for running locally. People don’t want to send data to third party providers.

You have all the code and can modify the code as you want, so yes. You need to know how and where.

I cloned the repo and got it running on docker properly. Does anyone know how I can change the default llm model to gpt 4 turbo. It is defaulting to 3.5 and I'm getting limits on brain size and the amount of messages I'm able to send

Unfortunately I don’t have that as I just create the video based on the latest changes in the repo.

Hello, it depends how much bigger model you want to use and how much of data you want to insert. You need good amount of RAM depending upon LLM.

I can’t help with just this error message. try to ask the error message in detailed in Quivr github and also link the issue here.

Hello, Open source community is great and there are many people willing to help but you need to be clear on what you are asking. Just providing a simple UI and saying how to solve this won't help as the person who want to help don't know how to help although they want to help. Some of the things to consider. 1. In which machine you are having problem. 2. What command you were running so that the error occurs. 3. Provide logs so its easier to know what is actually happening 4. Explain clearly so other can understand For this particular case, one thing what might help is clearing the docker stuffs. Be extra careful when running these commands, I have asked ChatGPT so you can read it before running it. Hope it will help. chat.openai.com/share/a1aca175-1de9-404a-a805-4d175c6de62a
