Trying to be helpful here, that liquid nail will not adhere to vinyl flooring long term. It says on the heavy duty liquid nails label it’s not recommended for plastic/vinyls. Read the labels and save yourself down the road. Learned this the hard way

He applied the adhesive to the nonmovable floor aka the tile. You dont want the adhesive on the floating floor as it needs to be able to move (expand contract) looks like he did that in the vid

Make sure it fits appropriately?!?!?! Lmao. I never know where to start or how much to say about your train wrecks, but if for some reason you have to go to middle of door casing or whatever it may be that has a return, transitions should be notched, so in this case it didn't fit appropriately. But why would we care about that when it doesn't matter if it pops up anyways?

A pro would start by making sure there wasn't any loose crap where they were applying any sort of adhesive. Youtubing might not be for you.

You should have screwed down the metal channel and snapped it in. Glue never holds long. I’m constantly having to go back into homes and secure them properly

This guys has no clue but I have to disagree with you I out all my transitions down and stairnoses on with cove base adhesive and as long as they have they right amount of time to dry and nobody steps on them they will hold forever. As long as you’re not cheap with the adhesive. That metal track is garbage especially if you don’t get it in the right way it bends. I’ve never used the track and I’ve never had any of my transitions or stairnoses come loose unless my guys didn’t out enough under it.

As long as it works, that's all that matters. If someone comes into your home and looks closely at the transition and disagrees with your work, then they really don't need to be a guest in your home. Show them the door.

And "Bamm", you're doing 1/2ass DIY U-tube low rent videos like most of the other hacks on here! Wasn't gonna say anything until that comment about "the pros getting off the couch" thing. The real real "pros" are out there every damn day. I guess we're to busy earning money making real houses look great! We're usually working alone anymore, since no-one seems to want to do real work anymore.
