I discovered this long after doing years of tricep pulldowns the JM press is a far superior movement.

Depending upon how you do a pull-down it will work different parts of the tricep

@@leo9982 In name only. That was one of the first exercises I was taught by the OG’s for triceps etc. when I first started lifting in 72.’ I love this guy, and am constantly learning and being reminded by him, but this isn’t anything new. All the best.

Just tried these for the first time. They seem great and i might continue to use them as an alternative to close grip while i take it easy on my shoulder.

i love JM press. sometimes i do the “wrong” form with much less weight to get more elbow flexiom bc i find it helps with my elbow pain long term

Great exercise but HAS to be done correctly. The margin of error for it is pretty thin and can lead to some joint pain.

The best part of this exercise is it is great to use AFTER your primary tricep exercise. So once your triceps are pretty fatigued you can use this exercise to keep pumping out quality reps with the help from your chest!
