I’ve been journaling for 20+ years now, and I’m SO overjoyed to know that more people are starting, and learning the process. I remember being laughed at in school for carrying my journal EVERYWHERE. Now I get compliments on it. I can’t possibly recomend it enough and have gone though every journaling fad that’s been out there. But a simple brain dumb, lists, ideas, and poetry make up 80% of my journals. I think I have at least 40 full journals now that I am so greatful to be able to look back on. ❤

Did you made separate notebooks for poetry and other things or all in one?
@SofiaVicares
Ай бұрын
@@VartikaSingh-wu6oz If you have ADHD, i really recommend you to do it all in one and doing it in cheap notebooks. So you dont get overwhelmed by "many notebooks" which will never be filled fully and neither trapped in the "perfection" aesthetic in which the notebook is "to precious" to ruin. It also helps if you start with small notebooks that can be filled quickly and then build up for notebooks with more pagws gradually. :) I ve seen aswell other people use binders and and plastic sleeves so they store art, and for example if you published an article in a college newspaper or a fandom zine then ypu can have it in your memory collection

Been journalling since I was 12 now I'm 19. I don't write every day but I write when I have an interesting thing happening in my life I end up writing pages about that. It's really fun to read the stories I've written about myself back when I was like 14 to see how much I've changed is crazy. Best desicion of my life! Totally recommend:)

been journaling for 4 years now and the number one biggest thing that got me to actually stick at it was not pressuring myself to write every day. I used to buy notebooks with a page for each day, and I would just give up as soon as I missed one. Now I buy blank notebooks, write the days in myself and I find I write like 50-75% of days now :)

I started journaling when I was in elementary like writing down what you feel everyday upto my first yr. in highschool. I stopped cuz it so cringy but when I was in my 11th grade I found my diary and It was so funny and relatable so now I've been journaling for about 3 yrs. straight and I'm telling you. It really help me understand myself, my feelings and work on ny creativity. I also had a mood tracker, my goals, sometimes I draw, paint in it. So I have a notebook for every year.
