I've use tea tree oil on both my school aged kids. Both classes have had lice in the last 2 years. Even my youngest best friend who is in her class and livss by us has gotten lice, they play together every day but my child didn't get it. Tea tree oil is my holy grail lol use every wash day and then i reapply a couple drops a couple days later.

YESSSSS! And the funny part is there is no scientific "evidence" that it repels lice but WE KNOW!

Yessss we know my evidence is right there! What more do they need. These kids hug regularly, play regularly, go to class daily but the only hair difference was tea tree oil. Since then i mentioned it to the mother and her children have been lice free as well 💪🏼 i swear by it and will continue to use it lol if it works why change it.

Great tips! I use Trader Joe's Teatree tingle shampoo and conditioner in my kids hair and that has kept the lice away! Also one of my preschool teacher hacks is ALWAYS keep a spray bottle with water, teatree oil, and peppermint oil in the classroom. It works! Love the new intro!! ❤❤❤

Thank you!! I do not know how you teachers deal with all the lice outbreaks bc I can barely handle it and I don’t have to be in the classroom! You’re so smart though. I remember you told me about the tea tree tingle, I need to buy it!

I'm a mom that's mixed with mixed kids and these are great tips that I have done. A good prevention I've used that also works great in winter time or as hair gets dried out. Blue magic grease lightly to the scalp massaged in. They have new updated ones with coconut oil, hemp seed(my fav), etc. I find mine at Walmart. Thanks for sharing🤗

Sonja Zuniga yesssss I agree. It took me a minute to figure out that my kid’s hair liked grease (people hate on grease so I avoided it) but when I tried it their hair loved it! And as a bonus it helps prevent lice! Thanks so much for your comment!

Really could used this back in Kindergarten when the kids got it and wasted about $1,000 on stuff that didn’t work. Prevention is the key ☝️

Ugh I’m sorry you guys had to go through that! I would do the same which is why I simply CANNOT let the kids get lice. It’s wayyyy too much work AND money to get rid of them

What worked for me is adding drops of tea tree essential oil in shampoo/conditioner.
