We went very unedited in this week's video! How do you like this format?
@mamasathome

I think it works really well because it isn't perfect which makes it more relatable. Sometimes we're all over the place with our thoughts and that's okay. It's nice to see someone being transparent discussing something I'm also struggling with. You helped give me some perspective. I prefer the limited edits, it doesn't have to be perfect to be a great video.

Love you! Thanks for this video. Can you make a video of what your "monthly meeting" looks like where you go over all your stats/analytics of everything? Would be helpful to see your process and know what to look at and how to make changes so the next month is better. Like sometimes I'm overwhelmed with Pinterest, google console, google analytics, affiliate pages etc. So any help here to organize and streamline would be amazing!

Updating articles, tweeking my blog layout for seo, researching seo to stay up to date with trends, trying to research keywords for new articles for the week. And my husband and family do not understand. I make minimal to afford our lifestyle but the END GOAL is what I'm aiming for!!! How to stay motivated when you don't have the support? You are such an inspiration at 25 years old and I'm 35! Boss status for real. Love your real " life as a blogger" videos. You don't give fluff, every minute is all gold! You're not rambling at all. It's truly amazing and inspiring what you have been able to do in 4 years. As an entrepreneur myself, you totally hit all the pain points of working hard to be a self-made success. You're 10 years younger than me and where I've been working hard to be for the last decade wanting to have my own successful online business. I give you so much props! Don't listen to those haters- they just jealous they aren't a lady boss like you! Love your videos! Your content came perfectly when I am pursuing my own content creator business. Thank you for giving us the real you and the real deal in all of your videos. Keep being amazing!

Sophia - I hope this comment finds you personally …. I had to pause the video to write it (7:05 time mark) THANK YOU!! Thank you for choosing to share and put yourself out there!! I’ve purchased 2 of your courses and will be getting the email one a bit later this year (not there yet in my blogging journey) THANK YOU!! I literally have watched one of your income report videos at LEAST (no joke) 50 times!! For awhile I watched it every night cooking dinner to remind myself if I just keep doing the work these will turn into my income reports. That video keeps me so motivated, I probably have it memorized by now lol but honestly KEEP up the good work!! You are making a real difference in real peoples lives! I know you already know this but I’ll say it just in hopes to give you a little motivation to keep going how we know we’re doing something right is there’s a opposition …. That’s always on the road to greatness to keep the wrong people from getting down that road 🥰♥️🥰 ps hire a va to screen your nasty comments lol tell them ‘only send me the good ones thx’ 😂😂😂

I think you're forgetting about the most important part when it comes to comparison. And that is you don't need to make 6 figures a month. If that is something you're going for, great. Go do you, but that doesn't have to be someone else's goal. Yes, you have employees and things like that. But making your blog big enough to live your life, is also doable by yourself. But you need to figure out what you want your life to look like and build your blog schedule around that.

Hey Sophia, thank you so much for doing these videos! I've been watching them for over 2 years now when I wanted to start my blog and now I'm finally doing it. I wanted to ask you how did you do your blog copy in the beginning? Did you DIY it or did you buy a template? I'm finalizing my website however, I don't have the budget to invest in a copywriter. What would you recommend me do to make sure my website is SEO'd?

Thank you for these videos and your courses! I re-watch parts of “Perfecting Blogging” and “Perfecting Pinterest” every few weeks to remind to myself how to do things right (and figure out the ever-confusing Pinterest world lol). I can tell y’all Sophia’s courses are so WORTH it (unpaid endorsement ; ). I’m not quite ready for the email course, but when I am, I’ll be signing up! I would love to see you do a video about balancing blog post content and KZitem content -- for example, should every post also have a video or not so much?
@perfectingblogging

Hi!! Great question. I could talk a lot about this but for answering this ill keep it sort - Dream world, yes, every blog post should have a video. From an SEO perspective, videos help a TON! However, I don't know how any human would be able to manage doing a video with every blog post. It takes 9+ hours to write a blog post for us so to add video on top of that it would be a 20-25 hour process!! We look at ROI for what topics make sense to make videos from and which ones don't. hope that helps a little!!

How ironic life can sometimes be! I checked all my blogs and the stats 📉were down. I felt down and I pop on KZitem and this video was the first to pop up. I watched it and now my mood is up again. Key lesson to take away, 'Blogging is a marathon not a sprint' and 'slow and steady wins the race'. Thanks 😊 for always keeping it real and being a great role model for the next generation of bloggers.

This was really helpful and timely for me. It seems like such a mind game, which is really what anything hard and worth it comes down to in life. So much convincing to avoid doing what I want and know I need to do leads to doing nothing, but that desire doesn’t go away! Gonna trudge through and believe that the outcome some day will be worth all the efforts.
