wonderful video. tip: I use school zippered pouches one for each dog and cat. You can get at Dollar Tree during back to school. I keep copies of their vaccinations, last vet record, a picture of me with them, list of special needs. I zip tie the pouch (get the ones for 3 ring binder) to their kennel. I keep leases in the car. helps if you see a stray dog out and about get to safety and hopefully home. Another tip: practice an evacuation, time yourself, see how long it takes you to get everything into your car, along with the animals. That is when I started to keep leases in the car, as I could eliminate a step of getting leases out of the closet. Thank you for putting together this important information. Hugs to Rocket❤🐶❤

Great video! Not only does my son have his dog microchipped, he also has an Apple air tag on his collar.

Thank you -- this is so helpful. I would make sure keeping my pet in my sight or my ''base camp' would be essential -- I worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in a post Soviet republic and I remember people relaying that residents in their city ate cats and dogs when the Nazis seiged their city. Ugh, I hadn't thought of that kind of danger to pets but it exists sadly. There is also a great Canadian vet here on youtube who covers holistic treatments and how to make your own pet food. It's called 'Vetenary Secrets.'

I will definitely check out “Veterinary Secrets,” thank you! And that’s terrifying about them eating pets.
