I have seen a reasonable amount of lacing tutorials.....this is definitely a favorite. :)

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. It is very kind of you. Doing my own framing is something I will need to try some day.

This was very helpful for someone like me who hadn’t laced a stitched project before😀. Thank you for the great tip of upholstery thread and how to use tension every other thread to tighten the fabric over the mat board backing. You made me feel like it is easy for beginners and I will get my thread on my next shopping trip! 🪡🧵

Thank you so much for doing this video. I’m stitching Susie Susie sampler maker now & have been contemplating trying to frame it myself. With your video, I feel confident I can do it. Love your designs & your flosstube!

Fantastic finishing tutorial video. I have been putting off finishing my pieces by framing because it seemed too difficult. Nope, not anymore. Thank you for sharing that shop on Etsy. I will definitely be getting some of their frames. I love that they come with the foam board. Thank you for a great, helpful video.

Just what I needed to see -- thank you so much. I will have to give it a try. I typically use some batting on top of a mat board, but yours looks great without any batting 🙌🏻

This was great Steph! Any tips and tricks you are willing to share, I would be willing to watch. May I ask what program you use to design your patterns? And does it work on a laptop? Some creators use their tablets. Thanks and take care!

Thanks a lot for doing this. I have a question: I live in a country where the access to supplies for this hobby/craft are limited, so I need to buy frames, acid free foam cores (?) and other stuff from abroad. Where do you find these things? Etsy? Which sellers, please? Or online stores? And what do you go after when you buy them - what is important to know? Perhaps you could talk about that in another vlog or somewhere else?

Question for you. Is it best to use the unscented Mary Ellen's? Or does it matter?
@lindystitches
2 жыл бұрын
I have heard the scent makes some worry about future bugs being attracted to the needlework. As for me, I don't tend to worry about such things. I just buy unscented anyway. Depends on how paranoid you are, I guess.

@@lindystitches I went ahead and bought the unscented but didn't even think about bugs getting into the fabric. Thanks for that information!!!!

I looked on S & N listings and they do say the foam core is acid free!
