I’ve been watching your videos for a while and wanted to ask: In your experience, what is the type of drum that has the most moving a profound sound? I understand that this may not be universal, since everyone has a different preference for sound, but want to know what you think. I have listened to different drum types, including those made from horse, cow and buffalo. Thank you.

You could call Pacific Leather in BC Canada and see if they ship overseas. Good kits.

Was that lacing wet leather or raw hide?

wet rawhide, also shrinks and really tightens up the drum head!
