You're not kidding "it's hard to understand the manual"!! You'd think a $600+ transmitter would come with a manual that was written for the ENGLISH market from the beginning, instead 100+ pages worth of a terrible translation! lol Thanks a LOT, btw!! Learning this thing slowly but surely, thanks to good peeps like you!

Love my m17 for drag racing. Having a good radio is very underrated. Opens up a ton of tuning avenues and power output manipulation back and be very useful.

Could you make a beginner basics video please? Like explain what each setting means and what it does in relation to the car. Would be very helpful. Just kind of a base getting started tune set up. Great video and thank you!

Great video but I'm having an issue. When I change my epa for r2 it changes it for r1 also. I can't seem to have it save two diff d/r numbers for my throttle. You had changed yours to 0 off camera. Is there a trick or something I'm missing?

Awesome. Does that pretty much cover nain things needed to know with m17 as far a no prep drag racing g0es?

Absolutely not! The main things are the throttle ramp and curve. That’s primarily why I feel people buy the m17. There were just no videos on the launch button, so I made this video to fill that void. I would recommend searching desert hobbies videos on FB with mark vyne talking about the m17 if you want more technical things on the throttle ramp. There may be other videos on KZitem for it but I don’t follow many other NPRC’ers to see any good info to recommend

How do you make it ramp slowly after it switches from R2 to R1
@congo3561

Trying to figure that out as well

I could see it switch from r1 to r2; but what was actually happening?
@tsdelosa

I put it on a switch so you can go from 0% throttle to 100% faster than you can pull the trigger. You can also edit r1, r2, r3, etc. as other preset throttle %’s if you’d like

I need instructions on the 9 stage launch setup, I believe it's done in throttle curve
@tsdelosa

Most all of the throttle tuning is done by setting the point and adjusting the ramp rate. The curve is more of fine tuning something once it is close with the point and ramp rate. I can look into making a video for that also.

That doesn't work with a ramp speed. It bypasses a slow ramp to full throttle

How can you make it go through the ramping and curve into it. Once I push the button it goes straight to 100%. I need it to slowly ramp in with the button
@tsdelosa

I don’t believe that is possible. This feature works only for an ESC that has some sort of launch power or stage. You can use this with a Tekin, and also tune in the radio, if using launch power with the Tekin

You can. It's in the speed function. Out for on power, in for off throttle. The lower the number into the negatives, the slower the ramp. The % number is into what point it starts ramping. Combine that with your EPA and you have a whole slew of behavioral adjustability for on and off throttle ramp.
