*How to Learn Faster* - preparation (learning how to learn) - 5 minute rule (activation resistance) - focus on the weakest links - test yourself (active recall - ANKI) - spaced repetition - forgetting curve - overlearn - learn in more depth than need to - keep asking (understand the rationale for things rather than accepting) - teach someone what you are trying to learn *if learning is easy you arent doing it right

When I was in high school, I hated math. So instead of doing math homework, I programmed my TI-84 calculator to do the math for me. I wrote custom programs that would not only find the answer, but also show all the steps in between so I could "show my work" as the teachers wanted. Most teachers were fine with this, as TI-83 or better calculators were required at my high school and these teachers saw it as simply "using the resources available to you." Awesome teachers. But one had a problem with it, so much that she took my calculator away and made me re-take the test by hand without a calculator. The thing is, I had been so thorough in writing and testing the program that I had learned the formulas and I aced the test even without a calculator. I guess my moral here is, find out a way to make it fun. I enjoyed programming the calculator, TI-BASIC is a really easy programming language to learn, and the repetition of testing case after case, probpem after problem, eventually made me learn the formulas and how they worked without even trying.

Dapatkan feedback secepatnya dan dan sebanyaknya agar kita bisa cepat mengetahui dan memperbaiki. 7. Ketahui dulu alasan dibalik belajar sesuatu agar kita mengetahui cara belajar yang lebih efektif ketimbang secara membabi buta belajar sesuatu tapi sifatnya hanya penghulangan bukan pemahaman. 8. A high school teacher of mine once said that the best way to learn is to study something to the point where you’re able to explain it to someone else in your own words. Just memorizing things without understanding a thing isn’t nearly as effective because you’ll eventually forget most of what you memorized, but when you actually understand something fully and are able to teach others about it, you’ll remember it all for a very long time. This really helped me out because in high school I used to just engrave words into my head and forget them days after tests and exams.

I have to figure things out on my own mostly now coz teachers dont realise how fixated students can be on a single mindset like solo studies. We want independance in Uni so we try to look for our ways without trying to get guide from teachers about general learning at least and thats why we should be thaught that in high school. @@Science_explained I don't think he will get demotivated by a single user comment, as he pretty surely is able to deal with these type of comments. However, I wouldn't leave a channel just because I dislike the last videos that have been released. I'll just wait until there may be something I'm more interested in again.

Beautifully said. I tell my folks these words everyday. It’s good to save money but most people don’t understand the market moves and tend to be misled in facts like this and always depends on money in the bank

Ali these tips are incredible insightful for those who want to get started on how to learn! In America we aren’t taught how to learn at all. Even during my journey through my time at my university. Now that I’m out also want to pursue medicine. However I was never able to come up with an effective strategy/ method to study no matter how much I tried. Now I’m on the pursuit to sharpen my own axe. Do you have videos or classes that integrates everything from breaking down a textbook, identifying high yield material, using anki( testing yourself) spaced repetition, preparing for upcoming exams( how many days in advance, identifying what material to start on first). Sincerely, someone who was never taught but always willing to learn

I always try to associate them with real life, but it can be quite a toll on some topics like finance/math. A tip that I give to people is to get into the word roots and their meaning. Remembering their roots helped me learn terms that just did not stick.
