Thank you so much for this simplified explanation. Been struggling with various study techniques and I've been getting bogged down, including using Feynman. Clearly I did not properly understand it as explained by other commentators. This way I feel will definitely allow me to progress more smoothly in my studies. I do want to add that I get absolute value out of your videos. Amongst many things, it is the simplicity in analysis, your memorable analogies and quality presentation. They have genuinely improved my life in the short time I have been following you. Thank you.

Thanks, I didn't know about the Technique! A French author/poet (I am French 🇫🇷, not bragging 😄 ) said "Ce qui se conçoit bien s'énonce clairement, et les mots pour le dire arrive aisément.", which can be translated : "Whatever is well conceived is clearly said, and the words to say it flow with ease.". I always try to learn and work following this quote, but now I have a whole process to APPLY it ! The Feynman Technique seems to be based on this principle as well. Awesome. 😱

You can take this method to the next level by recording a video to teach yourself and watch it a few times to see the parts you struggle with. In time this skill will also help you with your public speaking ability. Practice makes perfect :D

So if one doesn't know ABOUT the bird, when asked specifically if they know the NAME of the bird they should answer "No" - even if they DO know the name of the bird? Answering "no" would make sense if the question was instead "Do you know of / about that bird?" or something more general like that. But the question was if the person knew a specific fact, not "about". That part didn't make sense to me.
