I had new strut's put in a few years back and I wish I had that extra $400+ to add the LIFT Kit... at $2,000 I just kick myself that I did not just buy another car and learn to put them in myself. So know, that is what is cost me to have some one else do the work you are doing in this video. Great job! (for the second time) I saw you do this on your other SUB.

Great video series! I have an 04 Forester that I'd like to lift and do some light overlading and beach camping. I plan on lifting it a few inches and put some better tires and struts all around. Could you make a recommendation for tire size for 16 inch rims. Keep up the good work! I really enjoy your channel.

Around six minutes you talk about the hardware that is included. It looks to be grade five. Is grade five ok? Is grade eight a bad idea? I personally prefer grade eight for high stress members, but not when the fastner is meant to be just slightly weaker than the members it is joining. Great video showing how this is done. I can't wait to start tearing into our 2010 Forester.

Does the spacer for trailing arm align with the sway bar bolts? My subaru has a 4" lift and the sway bar link bolts are backed off, and I thought adjustable BRZ links were the only solution. But possibly I need those spacers. I don't have hub tire contact issues, but loose bolts are not good.
