DO NOT DO THIS!!! I REPEAT DO NOT DO THIS!!! My hair has never felt dryer in my life!! I bleached my hair a few years ago and I accidentally left the bleach on 15 minutes too long and my hair felt better then it does now!!

The tea helps moisturise and chamomile does contain a substance that lightens hair. Less damaging than the lemon juice actually. (:

no, actually, it creates a slight change to brown, definetley not orange. Ive done it maybe about 5 times and theres a slight difference between my roots and my tips, but you can definitely see it, its maybe about 2 or maybe 3 shades lighter. it creates an ombre effect, so maybe spray more of your roots than your tips to make it all the same shade. If you don't physically compare your tips and your roots, you can't really see a difference. I have been asked how I got my hair so light though ;)

I had a different problem than you. I am normally as you can see in my picture a sandy dark blonde with blonde highlights. I highlight my own natural hair. The last time I highlighted my hair the plastic cap broke! I had a white blonde top of my head! Since I have a sensitive head I had to go to work like that for a week. I bought the L'Oreal Natural light brown to "fix" my hair. I followed the instructions very carefully but when I washed and dried it omg it was sooooo dark! Like the darkest brassy red brown I have ever seen! I panicked and washed it a few more times to no avail! I thought I was stuck with this horrible brassy brown color forever. That is when I decided to google how to strip color from hair naturally. So the next day (Sunday)I found this youtube and others like it that said to use vitamin C. So I bashed up 30 1000mg vitamin C tablets.( not the chewable because I saw on one website they don't work as well.) I used Dawn green dish soap because it said dawn would work with it. I mixed it up until it was foamy then put it on my warm damp hair. I put it in a plastic grocery bag and let it sit for a hour. OMG yes! The darkness was almost gone! The brassy redness was still there but it wasn't almost black. It didn't look to bad. It lifted at least two shades! It was a little darker than my natural color but it was ok. I lived with that for a week until the next weekend. I then googled how to get the redness out. One website said chamomile tea would work. The recipe I used was 5 tea bags in a cup and half of boiling water, letting it boil for five minutes then letting it sit for in hour or so. Then I put2 tbs honey, a squirt of lemon juice, and a tbs of olive oil(to make my hair not so damaged from the lemon juice) I then put that all over my dry hair and sat in the sun for two hours. I rinsed it out and OMG it wasn't a brassy red anymore and some of my highlights were starting to come through! The next day I decided to do the Vitamin c treatment again. OMG yeah! I have my hair color back! I even have some of the highlights back! My head does hurt because like I said I have a sensitive scalp. I probably should have waited a week in between the chamomile lemon treatment and the vitamin c treatment but I don't care I have my hair back! After a few hot oil conditioning treatments I should be fine. :)

actually you could just mix lemon juice in with your shampoo not too much not to little and just wash your hair with that and it'll naturally lighten your hair over time

You can use a hair dryer, its simply the heat the reacts with the lemon juice to lighten your hair.

Ok thisges to everybody. You can try using a hairdrier, you can stay in the sun for however long you want-longer the better. You can rly try everything and you don't have to use chamomile(i guess) It's ALL NATURAL EVERYBODY. The worst possible thing that will happen is probably your hair will turn green. jk. it'll turn a shade lighter
