Angie Hello ! Happy new year!!! Ya i agree that people miss much them. But with neutrals you end up looking just everybodyelse: dull and not intersting. It's indeed important to learn how to coordinate colors in a classy way. But trust me a hot pink coat or green one looks much expensive than a plane neutral one.

Me: every day I go to work.. uniforms are crisp and clean, hair is straight and shinny, conservative make-up, nice scents of Cologne, shoes is polish. Favorite diamond rings and some jewelry.. nails is polish... I look good every day.. and I bring smile to all my patients and co-workers. 1 hour a day is not a lot to do yourself.! That makes me feel expensive and classy.. and yes! Language too. And respect to everyone! 👍♥️

cheap quality colors will wash out and fade and will look used faster, cheap black in the sun will definitely fade fast. Investing more into fewer, better quality clothing is always a smart choice, and it does not have to be high fashion designers, most of the clothing is manufactured in poorer countries using bad chemicals. Always look at the material tag, is it premium cotton, linen, wool, cashmere or silk, also some extra care will be needed - special washing powder and hand wash cycle or actually washing them by hand. But in the end the good quality materials last a lifetime. No kidding. I have crispy white linen pants that last me almost 2 decades (and i bought them for pennies in the thrift store).

With print materials - if you wear a print pair of trousers or skirt, pair it with a plain top and neutral colour shoes and purse. If it's a dress, choose neutral sandals/ shoes/ bag. Jewellery should be none or very minimal - dainty. Natural look makeup. If you choose to makeup, use a muted colour from your print outfit on your eyes. Now if you want to be flamboyant and break all rules of print, go all the way and allow all the rainbow colours in all your ensemble.

What if you look expensive, and people think you are rich when in reality, you are broke. So when you are invited to expensive places and experiences, or people ask if they could borrow money etc you just opt out or say no and they think that you are a rich stingy person. What do we do then? 😅

Hello Angie. This my first time watching your videos. I like your ideas, but it is important to buy good quality clothes that you can afford that will last you a long time I use monochromatic colors, use accessories like pearls and good custom jewelry, scarfs, hats, bags etc. Also I am 63 years old and for health issues I wear low heels shoes, flats and mules. Also have a good one piece bras preferably nude or black that will hold your body problems and give you a smooth finish. But I do believe like Coco Chanel the importance of a quality fragrance. I prefer European fragrances from Y Saint Laurent, Chanel, Dior and so on. It will make you feel unique and beautiful. Wear what looks good on you, dare to be different.....

I think only looking healthy and fresh matters. The way u carry urself is the bonus that attaches with it. Doesn't matter what u wear, a lot of people wear nice clothes but their sleepy eyes and pale color ruins the outfit badly. Sometimes people with expensive clothes wear them so badly that they look a bit off. It's just my opinion bec I have violated these rules on so many occasions but regardless I have recieved so many compliments.

wealth worship. stop shaming poverty and worshipping celebrities who essentially exploit people to acquire their wealth.
@angie.salama
6 жыл бұрын
Maryam A. This is not shaming poverty. The message here is that you can live like a millionaire owning nothing. In the 50‘s people all looked the same even when they had no money so it‘s not about that. I hope you didn’t get me wrong :)
@eeyorestars
6 жыл бұрын
Maryam A. It's not so much wealth worship as tips on how to achieve a look that fits your personality on a budget. I like looking nice, though not all of her tips apply to my style, but that doesn't mean I worship wealth. Modesty is great, and I could never imagine paying as much as celebrities do for clothes. These are tips on how to create a style on a budget, not how to look like a Kardashian.

People are a little smarter than you make them out to be. I promise you aren't the only one that is so "self aware". We are all capable of doing exactly what we want and if those actions do not align with what you consider to be important it doesn't make us unintelligent sheep, it just means we have independently decided that we have different wants and priorities in life.

I don’t agree on the “diamond studs” and “silver/gold watch” I think pearls are much more classy and expensive-looking... while diamond studs look very trashy. Plus, a slim and monochromatic watch would be much more elegant than other bulky silver or gold watches. I get what you’re trying to convey, though.
@angie.salama
