I got belly fat for the first time in my life due to a toxic relationship. I was in constant flight/fight/freeze mode for 5 years. I gained 25 kgs. I am starting to feel better now that this relationship is over and hope to start losing this awful weight soon…unfortunately I deal with chronic illnesses and tKe medications, but even with medications I never ballooned this much. 😢 I need to be hopeful.

When I gain weight I know it is an indicator for me to leave the place, people, I am in the wrong thing. Bossy people are the ones behind gaining weight for me. I am yin girl. All my life I have been in toxic relationship friends, parents. My last bf was soooooooooooooo bossy. I gained 35 kg because of him. I left him forever.

Hi I’ve got consistent insomnia. I’ve got belly fat. I’ve been really struggling with this. - practice deep breathing. Practice every morning - add herbs. Ginseng. Holy basil. Medicinal mushrooms. Ashwandganda. - avoid caffeine. Alcohol. - add fibre to diet. - avoid toxic relationships - walk instead of eating 😅

@@christyswann3772please tell me which autoimmune disorders and why we cannot take them? I have several autoimmune disorders and very high cortisol . This is not an issue doctors in my country is interested in at all. They will not even do a spit test. I have gained a lot of weight on my stomach and my face and I rarely sleep more than 2 hours in a 24 hour period. I eat less than 1200 calories per day and mostly eat fish and vegetables . No white flour, no potatoes, no pasta and no candy or chips or salted nuts. I had just lost half my body weight and was happy and heart for the first time. The I got I’ll with several autoimmune diseases and have to take strong pain killers every day. My partner left me. That was got in the long run as the relationship was toxic. But I’m very depressed since I lost most of my family and all my friends. Lost as in they passed away. I’m not able to expertise because of my chronic illness. So I’m mostly alone now laying 😅n my sofa , staring in the air.. in pain physically and emotionally .. not even a life anymore . Just found out one of my autoimmune conditions have turnen in to cancer last week. I start treatment in 11 days…

Hey Brian. Great video. Glad you mentioned Ashwagandra. It is so powerful. You can take it in tablet form and they do it in tea bag form usually mixed with something else like tumeric for example.

So like. How can I lose weight if I can’t eliminate my stressor? It’s going to take me years to reverse the trauma and tics and constant fear and no sleep and bad habits my mom has caused me, and I’m still stuck in this house for a year. Is there a way I can work it off without lowering my stress bc it ain’t going anywhere.

There's only so much deep breathing and meditation you can do, I'm so tired of it. I'd do anything to get rid of cortisol. I take supplements, vitamins to nothing works unless you rest or overeat and that's like so boring and overeating feels disgusting.

I gained weight with using adaptogen: 'Maca' and my sleep is bit more worse. Gained weight around my middle. What is happen do you think? Is it the right way? is it just that my body has to adapt to this Maca? Or maybe i need do use 1 gram instead of 3 grams per day in the morning. I would appreciate it if you would respond to my question🙏🏽

I'm not sure if it's maca. I use it and hasn't affected my weight. I recommend watching what you eat first

@@briansyuki I always track my nutrition closely, I have been doing this for 3 years and consistently qualitative strength training, so that is not the problem.. I am not so familiar with how adatogens work. How is it possible that Maca Root also releases more cortisol? I think that is what happened..

Hello ... When I have a problem, my body trembles, my heart beats faster, and I feel difficult to speak. I also sweat a lot, and I suffer from high levels of cortisol.. I tried Ashwgandha for 6 months, and my condition did not improve. Is there an alternative to Ashuganda?

Brian please answer, If my cortisol suddenly increases and i get belly fat, and then if it decreases, will it cause Cushing syndrome? I (M) used to be skinny 55kgs at 5'10 and then during lockdown i gained around 30 kgs, no muscle, just fat I'm building muscle now and currently at 73s,i look lean except my belly and chest, is it Cushing or hormone imbalance? Edit: i do not drink nor consume any drugs etc, vegetarian but i eat 2eggs and milk everyday

@@naturelovers6987 yes, I lost weight fairly easy, I play table tennis and badminton and walked a lot I lost without much effort like following any diet, I couldn't continue weight lifting cause time constraints and I'm in 64s now. The weight loss was also rapid, lost like 10kgs in 50 days and i didn't feel weak at any point It might be hormone imbalance at some point cause I got gyno and now I think it's almost gone or not noticeable anymore, I'm in early 20s so I might have had it easy

It’s probably because you’re not used to it. We typically only shallow breathe. Working out is uncomfortable in the beginning also. You will get used to it and reap the benefits if you continue. It’s worth it🫶🏾

Glad to stumble on your video! I love your advice and the fact that you mention herbs. Many western coaches don’t take into consideration that many viewers are not from the western world and understand herbs as supplements more than anything else. One more like from me. 😀
