Hi Sal, great video. I've one question though about gaining muscle when lifting. I thought you had to increase your calorie intake above your TDEE by 200-300 calories in order to gain weight not reduce them
@MindPumpTV

To lose weight a 200-300 calorie reduction below the individuals caloric maintenance is suggested. To gain, simply add a surplus of the same amount.

1. As long as you cut calories SLOWLY then yes, you can build muscles in a deficits. 2. Muscles grows when we build foundational strength by perform high intensity compound lifts. After that foundational phase is over. The foundational strength phase is also commonly referred to as the Transformation program. If you’re not satisfied with your size after your completed the foundational/transformation phase, then you can bulk if you want.

Wow, I'm not sure where were you educated but every organism needs calories to maintain its body temperature and for organs to work properly, to live basically! For an average person it's about 1200-1500 calories per day. It all depends on your physic and your lifestyle. If you eat less than that and you increase physical activities you will start burn your body fat.

The Calorie In Calorie Out idea has been proven wrong, because the body doesn´t process calories the same way, when those calories come from different sources. 200 calories from carbs are not processed by the body the same way 200 calories from fats are
