Very cool idea for the body. Another idea if you don't need all the travel - I ran an HPI Rally back in 2000. It rolled like a barrel. I used a piece of 1/4" long silicone fuel tubing inside the shocks on the shaft between the shock body and piston to lower it down. Limits travel and slams it down, but still has some give. I use this same technique on the shock shaft outside the body above the eyelet to limit travel on my stampede for hard hits because it still has give - a cushioning limiter.

I lowered the body right out of the box, comes stock way too low. I did this about 2010. Funny I died the same thing. Didn’t know people were doing this too. Great video!

Nice job. So, did it take care of the roll-overs?

You can eliminate tearing up your body by using the proline screws and caps. much cleaner looking and protects the body.

With the bigger stock stampede tires does the stock body still fit without any modification to it after lowering the body mounts using the metal battery pins?

Sorry doc. One more question. What tires and rims do you recommend for the redcat shredder, since you can't find the originals any more. Keep doing what you do.

You should buy a JLB Cheetah, it is a very solid RC! It needs better tires though, but that's an easy fix.
