Planning to use this same cam when I LS swap my 88 Electra wagon. Really interested to see how it goes. Also I’ve watched your short LS olds wagon videos....do you have any more detailed videos or info on LS swapping the old B-body’s? Thanks.

The Norris will probably be better on a street 4.8/5.3. Holdener sez SS2 is big for a street 4.8, good for a 6.0. Oversimplified guide for inexpensive Elgin LS cams: .560 216/220 for 4.8 .575 220/224 for 5.3 .585 228/230 for 6.0 Go up or down one depending on weight and intended use.

I’ve been trying to figure out what cam to use in a 5.3 in a classic car swap. Not look for a daily but rather a weekend warrior without goofy too crazy
