Welcome to the Checkered Floor Garage. This video details the very important process for lubing the splines of your shaft/final drive for the VN750A, also known as the Vulcan 750. The splines should be lubed every 12,000 miles. But if you haven't done this and aren't sure if the previous owner has done this either, I recommend you prioritize this service item. Here is a link to the VN750.com forum explaining why this service item is so crucial on these shaft driven motorcycles and also provides most of the instructions in written form.

08-Dec-2022: General practice when re-tightening the rear brake nut after complete removal is to tighten the nut until you hear/feel the brake shoes making contact with the drum and then back it off a 1/2 turn. Go to 17:30 of the video. This is where I show and re-apply the rear brake nut.
31-Jan-2023: I forgot to lube up the teeth of the rear wheel and the final drive with some high temp red wheel grease at 14:56. This should be done prior to putting the rear tire back onto the final drive. So please check out this video here where I show the correct lubing process.
