how long did it take u to grow ur nails to that length
@fatpotato317
Жыл бұрын
@@meiravv It takes about a month or two if you have a biting problem you need to put a top coat on and give it a little time until they become stronger so they won't break off as easily

I thought you were supposed to file in one direction, i heard that somewhere in another nail video, to reduce cracking and splitting

I think glass files don't "shred" the nail the way an emery board does, so that's why I think you can go back and forth with glass, but have to do one way only with an emery board.

It really depends on the person the first time I grew my nails out they were long in no time but at some point they started taking forever to grow but then again that’s me maybe it’s different for everyone but i’d say it takes a couple of weeks try not to chew on them as saliva makes them weak which will make them break

From a short length, like ending right on your finger or right at the tip of your finger, it takes me 2 months. But, you can file round/ballerina/square before that and let it grow out till you can make it more oval or more almond. That’s how I do it whenever I break a nail! Cut them down to square or squoval and as they grow out I shape them to almond-y. Its a really fun journey and you can experience different designs optimized for different shapes as your nails grow

Do you find they break more when oval/almond shape?
@Kyiecutie

They should actually break less. This shape is very strong for natural nails. Personally, I used to only file mine square and they would always break especially on the corners. I do this same shape and the same exact technique, have done this for almost 10 months and they rarely break. They usually end up so long I have to file them down to have functional length lol

@@Kyiecutie I love mine square also but mine do the same thing break at the corners I have mine rounded I did try almond but didn’t suit me so I think my shape is round mine are actually long now
