Very cool and easy to start business. Just accept cash only so there's no permits or licenses to get, use about 1 tablespoon of Dawn Dish Liquid (15 grams) to 1 gallon (4 liters) of water and buy a squeegee and microfiber brush and you are ready to go.

I disagree strongly when he says "it takes no skill". That is so untrue and BS. It is an incredibly underrated and under appreciated CRAFT. There are so many often overlooked details, nuances and time-saving tricks and procedures involved. Yes it's not learning brain surgery, but there is WAAAY more than meets the eye as you first start getting your feet wet - figuratively and literally. There's a great divide from the premier top talent down to the side hustlers and average Joes. I'm sure man y a highly trained and experienced washer/cleaner would be rather insulted from that remark.

@MoneyGrowthAcademy
5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Yep started with $0 of my OWN money. I went to a local credit union and got a credit card with a $2,000 limit on. To start this business I leveraged other peoples money (the banks money). Before buying ladders I went out spent $20 on fliers put those out, got about 8 calls that first week, 6 people accepted my bids then once they accepted the bid I went out and bought that ladder, the brush, soap, towels, spray bottle and squeegee all on credit. With the profits from 2 of the houses I was able to pay off that credit balance within days. So yes this is a business you can start with No Personal Money and rather leverage other peoples money. Hope that helps :)

If you don't need any money to get started, then why did your first squeegee & BOAB cost you about $40? Also, as someone that has been in the business almost 20 years, I can tell you that you should seek out some training. Even if it's just KZitem Vids... I've attempted to train many and only few pick up the art. If you think owning a bucket & a squeegee makes you a window cleaner, you are sorely mistaken. You can't honestly say that there is any job out there that some training isn't required. Don't even get me started on cheap Vs. Good ladders & OSHA safety guidelines. Oh... then insurance... There is no business where there is no overhead and no risk.
@MoneyGrowthAcademy
5 жыл бұрын
I titled it this way because I did not purchase my first materials with my OWN money. I truly had $0 of my own money. So yes this is a business that I started with money however I started it with $0 of my own personal money and instead leveraged someone else money. I hope that explanation gives perspective on the title. Most certainly, I would agree for others to watch KZitem videos on Technique and practice on their own videos that’s exactly how I did it and that is how I had my employees do it before coming onboard. Every job requires training and experience to excel in. With that being said you do not need to be an expert before starting, the important thing is just to START and continue to hone your skills just as you would in any other profession. And I agree there are always superior ladders, equipment, and product that can be used over other “cheaper” stuff. As long as it meets OSHA safety guidelines and is suitable for the job site I am fine with using it even if its “cheaper” than other equipment/products on the market. Every business is going to have some overhead thats a given. My point in sharing this path with others is to show them that they can start, operate, and maintain a business with little money and little on going costs. There are great cost efficient bond and insurance companies on the market for window cleaners and I’ll be sharing some of those tips later on for others. Thanks for watching!

I feel like this has good upsell value as well. I mean you can do there windows of course but then you can also offer to do extra services or more windows like car windows etc. then there could also be tips and stuff old people can be quite generous.

Thanks for watching! I Haven't forgotten about insurance, I just haven't covered that topic yet. I'll be showing individuals interested how easy and affordable it is to get insured and bonded. I'll also be going over other costs in a future video if you are interested. This hustle definitely isn't for everyone but for me it provided very well and allowed me to pay for my education, cost of living, and gave me the seed money I needed for other entrepreneurial endeavors.

I only have £10 in my wallet. Today i'm planning to go out and start doing house-to-house window cleaning. I have ladder, a bucket, and fiber cloths in the house, so that's free, I just need to buy chemicals, sponge, and a small squeegee. will only charge around £5 to £10 a house, which is way cheaper than any competition around. wish me luck! :D

Awesome! Love the motivation you have to make this side hustle work for you. Use vinegar, water, and dish soap as your solution so you don't have to spend a lot of money it works incredibly well. I'll be releasing multiple videos about starting a window washing business such as the marketing and how to upsell each job so make sure to subscribe :)

If you go bidding & getting jobs cheap you are lowering the value of your work and the window cleaning community. Get paid what the job is worth and what you are worth...

(How To Start with No Money) ?
@MoneyGrowthAcademy
5 жыл бұрын
Yep! If you listen you'll see that I explain that I started with $0 of my OWN money. I went and got a credit card and leveraged the banks money (someone else's money) to get me started. You do have to be responsible and pay back that credit card loan though. I was able to pay back all my starting costs within the first 2 jobs

Of course you can, the trick is if they look doubtful, tell them ‘I know I’m young, but I’ll take payment afterwards and if you’re not happy with my work I won’t charge you’ - take that line from someone who’s got 10 years experience in sales, it will work.
