I am very fond of patterned plywood, so I had to make a Bluetooth speaker with a patterned plywood front. The rest of the speaker must also be nice, so it is made of oak and ash. The oak and ashes are from shelf plates from the hardware store. This is because it is an easy way to build and I do not have the machines needed to mill solid wood to suitable boards.
I have not made calculations on how big the speaker box must be, I have only made it in the size I want it. The sound is decent, but in the future, I will try a couple of other speaker elements. But for now, they're fine.
The Bluetooth receiver is good, it continues to play even if I move to another room and I can even change floors. It has its own volume knob that can be rotated to change volume, but you can also do this from your phone. But it has no adjustment for other things such as how much bass you want.
