I have a layer cake I bought for another project but I just don’t care for it with that project and I’m thinking it just might work well for these blocks. It’s just a bit big for what I want so I’m sure thst I’ll have enough squares in this pack and some left over (I’ve already used 3 squares for something that just didn’t work🤭🤭🥴🥴.

Bad math Jenny, 16x2=32. Add one more for saying corner stones and you get 33. There are 42 in a layer cake usually so that leaves only 9 left not 11!!!!

I am new to quilting and just curious. When you say a 6” border, is that finished or unfinished? I do understand it is only a difference of 1/2” but just wondering. TIA
