Hey guys thanks for watching. You can make a carpenter bee trap in about 5 minutes.
Start out with a standard 4x4 post and cut a piece to about 7 inches.
Then drill a hole in the center of the bottom that’s a little less than 1” wide.
Next, you’ll need to drill a 3/8” hole on each side about an inch and a half from the bottom.
These holes need to be drilled at a 45-degree angle and connect to the larger hole you made earlier.
Attach the jar's lid to the bottom using a few nails. Using a half-inch drill bit, drill a hole in the lid.
You can use an eye hook, a bent nail, or like I’m using, an electric wire staple on the top to hang it from.
That’s it. Attach the jar and hang it.
A very simple, yet effective 5-minute project.
