So per your previous video on that boost converter if you used this server power supply as an input the max you could use would only be 30a 360 watt?

Hi friend! Yes, that is exactly correct.👍 As you already know, the server gives you a regulated 12V source, and the boost converter limits the input current to 30A. However, you can increase the power output by using two server power supplies in series (24V) - like I showed in subsequent video.

hi whats your gloves brand ? model ? material ? do you test it with 220v AC voltage?

Those are regular flexible work gloves and they not insulated gloves for high voltage protection - as mentioned in this video. I only wear them to protect against cuts.

...ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO: When I first got my server supply, I did a little research into the connections (the large power terminals and the enable jumper). I found for the power terminals that BOTH sides of each are actually connected together in the server. Since my main use for them back then was charging large supercapacitor banks, I soldered very thick pairs of wires to both the top AND bottom copper power terminals and then crimped the other ends with one large terminal (one set for each +/- connection). This eliminated the wire heating greatly. (I was drawing over well over 100A for a few seconds so I pre-charged the cap bank). I sold some of those odd units. I have four 750W units that you use. I like to fold a thin piece of copper sheeting from top to bottom of the power terminals to connect them getting the lowest impedance I can. Also, the enable jumper (which can vary between manufactures!) may need to found by trial and error...I used a 47 ohm resistor for this...then the resistor is not necessary, only a small jumper wire. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE VIDEO!!!

Oh yeah! These server power supplies are super awesome - given the price that you can buy them for. 12V, 6A at less than $20! That is amazing.

The 750w HP's and the 1800W boost converters really are a great pair. I wish I could find more information on those HP pins. I do remember that one was labeled "current share for stacking"...sounds interesting!! I admire the neatness in your builds. On my server supply, I just JB-welded a toggle switch to the enable with a simple digital LED voltmeter to read 12v. Your switch / LED is much better. To clean up those four wires, have you considered a small length of that old telephone wire...you know, the flexible sheath with the tiny red, green, yellow, black wires inside .@@theinnovati0nlab782
