Thanks, Martin. Much appreciated. Hadn't thought of building trackers using my Cricut! Cheers, Steve

A note regarding setup of the Maker 3 to load and cut the board. You will have to move the star rollers to the side to load the board into the Maker 3. I marked the original position of the star rollers on a 13 inch wide piece of paper (same width as mat) to be able to return them to their original locations.

I have been experimenting with something similar on my maker 3. I find the the settings just aren't right using the knife blade. Depending on the material it either cuts way too many passes or not enough. As far as I know there is no option, yet, to edit knife blade settings.

You can create a custom material thickness where you edit pressure, type of blade, how many passes, etc.

hey, one question Martin. i've seen your video cutting cards with the Cricut, about 5 years ago, and it seems like a pretty slow method. but what about now? it's worth it investing in a cricut just for pnp stuff? like cutting cards precisely.

Hi Nicolai! I still have my Cricut Maker 3 and I use it for very specific PnP tasks such as cutting out lots of stickers for tokens, or lots of chipboard tokens, or making dual layer boards. But as for making cards, I find it to be more trouble than its worth. Personally I feel that I can produce cards using manual methods with much more efficiency and less hassle than using a Cricut. So I would say as long as you understand the limitations, and that a Cricut is not a magic cutting machine suitable for all types of PnP tasks, and if you have the disposable income, then a Cricut can be useful. In very specific ways. :)

Hi martin . I saw your video " how to make laminated cards print and play " . I have a question , how can I reproduce the paper background in a way similar to glitter ? I would not like to include it in the design . Another question , the Neenah paper you showed in this video is also compatible with an inexpensive everyday printer ?

Yes Neenah card stock should in any home printer. I’m sorry but I don’t know how to produce glitter finish cards, I’ve never done that.
