Jenny.. TY so much for showing all the "little things" that we seasoned gals do in our quilts to use up everything! My trick is to keep anything left from the quilt and make patchwork zipper bags with what's left even after those scrap sashing's are done... This helps me use up the bin of zippers collected over the years as well!

I love your quilts! I love your enthusiasm, it makes me want to make every quilt you show. You could save yourself some time if you sewed all of your border pieces together and the attached them to the quilt top. That way you only fight your quilt top when you ad one border that is made up of your four strips. you just need to miter your corners. Keep up the good work!

Dear Jenny, I absolutely love your Fancy Friends quilt! My heart started pounding faster right at the begining and I actually felt it beat even a little harder when you flipped your quilts edge over to show the beautiful print chosen for its backing! I have loved handmade quilts all my life, since watching these beautiful works of art coming together at the hands of my beloved grandmother, mother, and aunts throughout my life. Nevertheless, this is the quilt my longing heart wanted most for myself. I guess I was starting to feel a little guilty, and even more greedy, for wanting this quilt for myself. Then, at first, to assuage my conscience, I guess, I started to reason that I could make more of my favourite quilt for my real life "fancy and forever" friends. To my astonishment, followed by my relief, I realized that we all have different tastes in color and so on. In this, I am happy knowing that when I begin sewing my first "Fancy Friends" quilt for me, it'll be okay to let my smile show all the while through. Why? Cuz being one's first fancy friend is simply okay ❤ Love you, Jenny, fancy friend too!

This is so cute! I love the extra pieces. A green or aqua would be pretty would this one. Green would look like a leaf and aqua is just a great color. Hum I wonder if you used one on one end and another on the other. This will definitely be in my "to do" list. Along with 100 others.
