Im gonna do this on an 1/4 acre with a weed eater and backpack sprayer, i was wondering of y'all limed it ( soil test) and I was also wondering if spraying early in spring and planting buckweat for a few months then laying it down and spraying it would help with weeds and nutrients and give does and fawns some diversity in summer, my land is more narly than yours, i have alot of thick stalk weeds and briars, briars are more in patches tho, its so thick the bucks push does in here in the rut to corner them, i just want a kill plot close to stand cause they never really use the land the same all the time

Once you sprayed did you just broadcast and roll? What method did you use to get good seed to soil contact with heavy thatch?

Will you be adding a grain as a nurse crop to also help limit weeds and protect your perennial and biannial plants?

Great! Clover looks good, got a little burned on the south slope in the summer drought but we’re very pleased with the attractiveness we created here
