Great video, beautiful stool. Please put your hair in a pony tail, I have personally seen someone get their hair caught in a spinning blade and it's horrific.

Loved your build and simplicity. Please pull your hair back when your on the table saw though. If it gets caught in the blade and wraps around the arbor it will pull your face right into that blade. It’s just not worth it!

I wanted to say the exact same thing. This was the first thing everyone was told on the first day in shop. Pull back Hair, make a knot or wear a hat, no scarfs, no bracelets nor necklace. Bad things happen to often.

Came here to say this. There was a horrible accident at a school near me involving a lathe and long hair. You have great hair, tie it back or do whatever to keep it from getting tangled in a machine.

Great video. A couple of quick questions - What wood thickness did you use? Is is using a 2 X 12 or a 2 X 10 construction lumber? Also at about 2 minute mark you showed a neat trick for ripping straight edges. What is that aluminum bar - does it come with your saw or is there a link to buy one similar? Thanks in advance.
@tobiasaki1108
2 жыл бұрын
Gooood dayyy! I used 2x6 construction lumber. Yess the short aluminum bar came with my saw. It is actually an auxiliary fence extension. But I used it as a straight edge to straighten up my planks
@ashokmoghe8035

Thank you. One more question if I may - how deep did you make those dados? I believe that's important because the strength and rigidity all depends on that. Again thanks for your video showing details.

Hi, the stool is beautiful. To make that work, am I correct that the top and bottom of the legs are cut at 15° as well? How thick is your wood? How deep is your groove? I will replicate this. Thanks!

@@tobiasaki1108 Back in the day I saw the results of a woman getting her hair wrapped up in the spindle of a milling machine, after I had warned her to tie her hair back. She lost a 5" diameter piece of her scalp. Long hair and rotating machinery are a recipe for disaster.
