Not a bad approximation! It's missing some of the original juice, but that's to be expected for a purely technical imitation. Good work

I think you should lower the volume of FL Studio in comparison to your voice. It's too loud while your voice is pretty low. Good video, though!

Sounds like Ghostrunner soundtrack. I like that
@somneales
Жыл бұрын
I was originally planing on making a Ghostrummer type beat tutorial but opted for Katana ZERO because the sound design seemed much simpler and eazy to grasp. Now that my knowledge of music production and sound design has vastly improved, I think I know what my next type beat video tutorial will be about.

Heyyy i tried doing the cool bass sounds you did and i set everything up in vital the same exact as yours but the filter just kinda muffles the sound, yk how i can fix this up?
@somneales
Жыл бұрын
An important thing I forgot to mention is the post FX. Try resaturating your bass with distortion. As you can see in the video, I have Blood Overdrive, Wave Shaper and Fresh Air to further add more fuzzy high end to the bass. Hope this helped.

@@ryansheehan1330 well that's the tricky thing with sound design. you have to make the right sounds. Vital can do a lot of things and you can completely alter samples with editing, layering and post processing.

I use FL studio 20. programs for music production are called DAW (digital audio workstation). there are many DAWs out there expensive and free. I say watch some beginner tutorials on multiple DAWs before deciding wich one to get.
