The bags are cute, but as a doctor I have one recommendation for the mask carrying case. Make sure you are not storing a dirty mask in that bag, it will increase the amount of bacteria from your mouth on that fabric since it will produce a nice warm moist environment for bacteria to grow. In the hospital, they store used masks in a brown paper bag since that is CDC recommendation. Just food for thought in case you were not aware of that information.

Yes absolutely. I should have stated that it should be a clean mask only case. Or have 2 cases - 1 for clean and 1 for dirty. ✅ thanks so much for that input. Very helpful. 👍✂️💛

Maybe just have a bag that isn’t laminated to put your dirty mask in, then you could just throw the thing in the wash or....keep a little zip lock baggie in the bag for the dirty one. Just a thought. Glad the doc spoke up cuz I wouldn’t have thought of that.

My daughter's dog is named after a Kansas City Chiefs football player, The dog's leash is Kansas City Chiefs fabric and now she will have a matching itty bitty carry case to carry poop bags! Took awhile to master the grommet process. Absolutely love this! Made the mistake a showing a friend and how she wants me to make a couple in other sports team fabric for her friends who have doggies... Thank you for your amazing clear instructions! Ready to sew anything you teach us. Next project - finding a pattern to make a Kansas City Chiefs fleece sweater for her dog.

You Tube is really weird just now. Recommending either very old videos or videos that have not been anything I have ever searched. The algorithm recently suggested a video, with a montage of hilarious parrots. I know it was hilarious because I watched it... But I certainly have never searched anything like it.

Tracy, this is great. Just what I needed. I told my daughter the other day I had to "disinfect" the inside of my purse because I have been tossing my worn masks back inside it after use. I will use this pouch as it can be easily cleaned after placing a used mask inside which is so important. Of course I will have to make a few. Your tutorials are the best.

A great tutorial. I will try it but laminate only the outer side of the fabric. Also, to save a bit of fabric and laminate (and time) I would cut a bigger piece, maybe 12” x 12” square and cut that down to 4 pieces of 6” x 6” pieces. That would save a bit of laminate which is expensive. And you’d have four pouches in one go. Thanks, the video was really great and inspiring. I’ve been needing something to inspire me to use up some of my piles and piles of fabric. I love quick and simple projects like this.
