You picked the best oils! My hair doesn't like coconut oil so I especially appreciate your choices! And the rose scent in the jojoba is so intriguing. I'm excited to make this. Thank you, Janine!

Great video! Just curious is there any other base you could use besides water or the aloe juice?

Hi, great video. I use most of these regularly which makes it easy. Do you recommend any particular product when first starting locs? I'm about to start my son's so I'm searching for the best option. Thanks & be blessed

Hey! When I first started my locs, I used rose water sprays for moisture. I also highly recommend Dr. Locs products! I've been using them to maintain my locs for over a year now. Hope that helps!

Hi, do you have to be concerned about mold in your hair from using the Aloe Vera juice?
@JaninePatrice
4 жыл бұрын
Hi! I don’t at all. Moldy locs are caused by locs that haven’t fully dried after being soaked (i.e. after a wash day) and it usually gets to the mold point after having damp locs for 2+ days. This aloe vera spray is very light and doesn’t leave my hair extremely wet after using it, so my locs get dry fairly easily while still retaining the moisture it needs from the ingredients. Hope that makes sense! ✨

can i use aloe vera gel instead of juice?

Hi, yes you can. I make my own DIY hair Spritz using alovera juice or gel depending whichever I have on hand at the time, either work well. I also add Rosewater it's great for the scalp. 😊
