I'm starting next year's Halloween costume now so I don't have to worry about making a awful last minute costume. Thank you for the video, I'm gonna be a Wendigo next Halloween.

Thanks man! I plan to make a cosplay of an infected researcher from John Carpenter’s The Thing, mainly based off the remakes poster. This makes things 1000x easier. Hopefully I finish it in time!

Hello, your videos are so amazing, but I want to ask. What type of wire are you using, and how much I would need it ? Thanks for such good tutorials
@HocusFocusProductions

That looked like it may be bailing wire. Generally comes in rolls. It's worth buying the 25ft or 50ft just to have in the shop.

Hey, i was wanting to do this for a partial carnage cosplay, but I was worried it would fall apart if used for too long or too often does anyone know if thats the case? And if anyone made this as a full arm how did/or would you do the elbow and wrist joints.
@fantasticfilmfactory6812
5 жыл бұрын
Hm... That could actually be the case, of course it depends how often you wear it and how thick the latex layer will be - Latex tends to get brittle over time. Although damaged areas can get fixed rather quickly by using more latex.

What kind of wire did you use for sculpting the hand?
@fantasticfilmfactory6812
6 жыл бұрын
I think it is usually used for winegrowing, but you can use any wire as long as it's strong enough - If you don't find any usable wire, you can still use metal wire hangers;)

Instead of liquid latex you could use glue mixed with water
@fantasticfilmfactory6812
5 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I don't think that this is a good idea - glue is not flexible like latex is and would crumble when you move the fingers... Despite that, I don't even know if it would be cheaper.

Hello my good man! I was wondering if you know how to make a set of more muscular shoulders that would match the proportion of these hands?
@fantasticfilmfactory6812
6 жыл бұрын
Hey, that depends on whether the shoulders can be seen or if they are just for underneath a jacket or something like that... If they can be seen, I would suggest using expanding foam... you can spray it over a wire skeleton, carve it, and cover it in latex later on to achieve a leathery texture... just an idea, hope this helped;)
@georgeturner9452
6 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. Yes it would mainly be for shape under a jacket.
