Nah, there's way way more to the horror genre than just the modern generic idea of "Spooky hallway, spooky flickering light, spooky figure standing in hallway, spooky jumpscare" It's just fukin sad that this is what people think all horror is these days.. That was literally never the default idea of what horror is until films like The Conjuring, Insidious and Paranormal Activity came out. All films I love, but damn they have ruined what people think horror is about. Horror REALLY isn't just about being scared by generic spooky things.

I used this trick yesterday as soon as I saw your short! I scared the shit out of my INSTAGRAM followers. I ended up filming from my bed and made a story like I was napping and I woke up to the lights in my closet flickering and added a demon face with loud jump scare noises and camera wobble. MWHAHAHA!
