☻ IT TOOK ME:
7 minutes :)
☻ MATERIALS:
▪ Paper size: A4, 29.7x21cm [80 g/m²] or 8.5" x 11" [20 lb or 24 lb] - that is an ordinary office paper used for any printer;
▪ Optional: pencil; ruler; pen; colored markers;
▪ Scissors :)
☻ HERE'S HOW TO DO AND PLAY:
- First make the A4 rectangle into a square. Do this by folding a triangle down from one corner to the other, matching up the edges. Now cut off the extra bit that's left below.
- Open out the paper. Fold it diagonally the other way, so you have a cross pattern on the paper.
- Fold each corner into the centre.
- Turn it over, fold each corner into the centre again.
- Fold it in half one way.
- Now fold it in half the other way.
- Label your chatterbox with colours (for example: red, blue, orange, green) and numbers (for example: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) and put secret messages inside each flap.
For example, we will play "What phone will you get for your birthday". Open the flaps (of the triangles, not the squares) and frite random fortunes underneith the flaps (types of phones in commerce, for example: Apple iPhone XS, Samsung Galaxy S10, ...).
Now you're ready to play! How to tell your fortune:
- Step 1: Choose a color of fortune teller (red for example) and one of the inside numbers within the fortune teller (7, for example).
- Step 2: Close - alternatively open the fortune teller with the chosen number (7 for example).
- Step 3: At the chosen color (red) is written the number 5; I open the flap with number 5 and below is the prediction revealed (will you get for your birthday "Blackberry Key 2", for example) :)
