It's been several years since I made anything with paracord....needed a wrist strap and of all the videos I watched, yours was the easiest to follow and make! It only took 30 minutes thanks to your step-by-step method! It's attached to my camera now, and I can go shooting without worrying about dropping it! Thanks so much, did not want to spend $20 on a strap!

That's awesome! Glad it worked well for you. We'd love for you to send us a picture of it for our new paracord creations gallery! www.paracordplanet.com/customer-gallery/

I liked this camera strap, the cow cord lock is cute. Just a note the the camera strap was attached to the wrong side of the camera, cord lock for me, I would the horn pointing up so as to not get poked by them.

Great video! I've watched a bunch and yours was the easiest to follow so far. I have tiny wrists too - only 5" around - so when I saw the DIY options it made much more sense to me than buying a ready-made strap, which I'm sure would be too large. I'm making it for a Sony A7rii which has much smaller rings than my old Nikons and even smaller rings than my micro 4/3rd Olympus E-1, so I bought some 325 paracord from your shop (since I don't think the 550 will fit through the rings) and will see how that works. I was thinking I might weave additional cord around the bracelet to make it wider if it turns out to be too thin. Thanks again for the video!

I wanted to beable to use my original camera strap, so i added buckles to the end of the camera strap, and short straps to my camera so i could snap on my original camera strap, then i put a buckle end that matches the camera buckles on the end of the paracord wrist strap with a cow hitch.

What do i do if i have a single cord cordlock
@ParacordPlanet

You can use a single cord lock for this tutorial! Just put the loop of cord through the single hole instead of the double hole as shown!

How much cord do you need per inch of actual weave?

Then general rule of thumb with this pattern is 1 ft. of cord for each inch of weave. Just make sure to include a bit extra for the portion that attaches to the camera.
