Excellent introduction! As a note, as of version 2.11 backgrounds now auto train you in the correct skill, them not doing that was entirely oversight on our part and we jumped to fix it as soon as you asked about it. You still need to add the lore on your own, since many times a choice has to be made with that. Can't wait to see the next videos!

I am just starting out with both Pathfinder and Foundry VTT. So your videos are very helpful. I am having an issue which is baffling me, so Im hoping you might shed some light on it. On your character sheet, you add the attributes in boxes next to the attribute midifiers (as I would expect you to). How ever on my character sheets, those boxes for the attributes are missing. Im running Foundry version 11 build 307 if that helps. Thanks for the videos, (and possible help)

So in the current version, you can click the "Edit" next to "attributes" on the right hand side, and choose your boosts/bonuses that way! It is much more slick and automated than this old video now!

Hey, thanks a lot for the video, Im a beginner in both pathfinder 2 and foundry and it has been fun but a bit of a struggle. Quick question though: if I choose ancestry, background or class from their lists, but then decide to change it, is there a handy way to do that?

Hi, its been a while since you made this video; @6:20 you put in your stats into the character sheet. Ive installed P2E today and instead of the stat boxes I have just modifiers and dont see where i can edit the section so I can input the original stats. Do you know where I should look to fix this?
@RecallKnowledge
9 ай бұрын
Hi! Actually, yeah since we made this video the way Pathfinder (and the entire system works) has changed. Now, you can open a box there that lets you choose each individual stat boost just like you would at character creation. It will calculate the modifiers for you accidently when you choose those boosts!
@HectorCornejo-r1g
9 ай бұрын
@@RecallKnowledge I figured that part out, Instead of showing the attributes and modifier boost boxes, its only showing the modifiers without the stat boxes to put the stats in. If I hit on edit, it will let me "assign my boosts"...but nothing for the original statistics themselves.
@RecallKnowledge

@@HectorCornejo-r1g So that is because of two things. Firstly, there is no "Starting stats" because characters in PF2e all start with 10. So each "boost" is a +2 in that stat. So you would get 4 rounds of boosts at first level (based on class, background, ancestry, and free choice). The UI should support that. But, because of the most recent PF2E ruleset changes (Known as PF2E Remastered), they got rid of the number all together. Its only ever the bonuses. So characters start with +0 across the board, and the boost takes it to +1. Mathmatically its the same, but the actual core number of your stat (Which was unused really in the game anywhere and existed only due to its roots in DND 3.5e) was never used, so it got removed.

Is there a way to add a second focus point for someone that multiclassed spellcasters
@RecallKnowledge
Жыл бұрын
I believe you can always adjust the focus point total manually, but also in the current build the dedication feats add the focus points automatically. You shouldn't have to change anything I assume you're talking about dedication and not dual class? Dual class gets trickier to manage, but there are ways to handle it

Can't find out how to edit my encumbrance as I'm a tiny sprite and have half the encumbrance limit
@RecallKnowledge
2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if the system automates bulk for tiny creatures; but its slightly more complicated than just having half the bulk! Tiny weapons/armor take up less bulk in general! You should be able to edit that at the item level directly to make it tiny. Not sure if the system calculates bulk properly for tiny creatures.
@RecallKnowledge
2 жыл бұрын
The official answer seems to be, "If you adjust follow the item adjustments AND the size adjusments, RAW it just doesn't work." It seems PF2E has a lot of tables that don't work together too well for this. But it should calculate correctly based on their interpretation, just be sure to set the items you carry to "tiny" in their settings so you're not clumsy when you attack with them

depends what you mean. If you mean into a PDF of sort that can be referenced, not really. If you mean into a json that can be imported back to foundry elsewhere, right click the actor in the tree and you should be able to export to json.

@@bchurchill49 Unfortunately, not really a thing in Foundry. I am sure some people might make modules that do it, but its outside the scope of what Foundry does. What people tend to do, is to use pathbuilder2e.com to plan their character, and keep it in sync in Foundry. That lets them plan their character ahead of time, and when they level up they can add the new choices in Foundry
@edreppert3091
2 жыл бұрын
@@RecallKnowledge You can also use Herolab and there's a module for importing from there, which I believe is still working, at least with foundry version nine. I forget what Herolab costs, but it's more expensive than path builder.

Heh. Here I am, a year late again. 🙂 Mukta should have another skill. Survival and one lore skill from Scout, and survival from Warren Navigator, but because he already has it from Scout, he gets to pick any skill. Maybe Occultism would be a good choice.
