Ever needed to email your presentation but discovered that your file was too big? In this tutorial, you’ll learn that there are two ways to resize your photos without having to crop them.
Method #1:
Use the PowerPoint Compress Pictures tool to reduce image size for all your pictures, so that your decks are smaller and more easy to email. This is the easiest and fastest way.
I’ll show you exactly what settings to choose and what each option means for your photos.
This simple compression technique can easily cut down your file size by one tenth, taking it from 4MB to 400KB!
Method #2:
Use another software, such as Paint or Photoshop to reduce the size of your images and then place them back into PowerPoint.
On top of that, you'll also learn how to find the picture (or pictures) in your presentation that are giving you the most trouble.
That way, instead of having to compress all of the images in your presentation to try and reduce the file size, you can instead identify the one or two largest pictures, and just compress them.
