The video does not contain drawings in the academic sense of the word, but diagrams and sketches that are understandable to any master, even those who do not have the skills to read drawing documentation. All drawings can be photographed or a screenshot of the screen.
1. BASIS. This is a cut of channel # 8 (80x40 mm). The racks and the lower part of the jack pivot are attached to it.
2. RACKS. These are pipe cuttings 40x40x2. It is very important to make them exactly the same in length and maintain angles of 90 degrees: without welding, these nuances will play a big role.
3. LEFT SQUARE crowns the fixed part of the structure. The sidewalls of the draw-shaft bearing housings are attached to it in one of two possible positions. In both platforms, both on the right and on the left, there are slots for adjusting and fixing the support rollers. I dedicate this episode to critics who claim that this cannot be done without a laser installation.
4. LINERS SHAFT SIDES. They are cut from a sheet of 4 and hold the UCF 205 bearing housings on them. The hole was again without a laser. I drilled with a step drill, but you can, for example, with a crown. The diameter here may differ from the indicated one, there are no problems.
5. LOOP. I used a door and reinforced it with 4 mm plate strips. But I strongly advise you, if you assemble the unit without welding, to find a reliable hinge from the door of a car.
6. RIGHT PLATE is almost a mirror image of the left one, but it is mobile: the jack presses through it on the bent pipe.
7. SUPPORT ROLLER ASSEMBLY is made from the same 8 channel. It is attached to the platforms using this square-neck screw. The square slides into the slots and allows you to quickly fix the knot in the desired position. In the left node, I made a selection for the bolt head. If the structure is welded, sampling is not needed.
8. SUPPORT ROLLERS, as on my other models, are a set of 204 bearings and M20 washers on an M20 stud. More than three years of experience in using them has shown the effectiveness and simplicity of this solution. To make the bearings rotate freely, thin gaskets made of 0.4 mm thick sheet are laid between them and the washer - a side stop.
9. Jack hinges. They are made of a stud and a long nut M 16 and help to take the correct position of the jack at any angle of fracture of the platforms.
10. Bumpers are needed to accurately orient the platter roller assembly on site. It is enough that they protrude above the surface of the platform by at least a millimeter.
Friends, the assembly itself is not difficult. The most important point to pay maximum attention to is the parallelism of all three rollers.
