@concordcarpenter : I reviewed several "pipe clamp rack" videos and decided yours is the very best. I then followed every step in your video and built mine. It came out awesome! It is now attached to a wall holding my pipe clamps. Thanks for sharing! Saludos desde la Ciudad de Mexico!

I don't usually spend more time posting a review but you did awesome they're my friend, you imparted maximum information in minimal time which left me more time to respond. Well done!. I'm so tired of people who flap their gums and like the sound of their own voice is refreshing to see someone who just gets the job done I would listen to more of your stuff in a heartbeat. Warmest regards

Love this design. I don't own a band saw or a table saw and I just stocked up on pipe clamps this weekend, so I was very excited to see that with just a drill press and a miter saw I could easily build this. Thanks for the idea.

Rob, Great Video! I appreciate the time and skill it took to make such an informative video. However, I made three modifications, First, like Pat M, I made the slots double deep, so I can store two clamps in each slot. Second, I angled the side brackets to about 15 degrees, so the clamps fall into place nicely and don't fall out. Finally, I had to bevel the top laminated slot to match the 15 degree angle of the brackets.

I bought some of the new Jorgensen pro 55 pipe clamps and they hang with the use of a single board beveled to 45 degrees. Super simple and does a fantastic job, check it out. I do have some clamps that are not the pro 55 so I will need to make some of these racks also. Thanks for sharing.

Rob, I build myself several clamp racks and always make them deep enough to store several clamps in each slot. If you size like clamps in each slot there is way less wall space taken up and no sorting thru for the right size.

Rob, could you tell me what are those clamps? Did you assembly them from pipe and clamps, or did you buy them in one piece? Just starting my woodworking journey, and already know i need those :)

There pipe clamps you buy the clamps separate then buy some pipe already threaded or thread yourself. Get couplings and you can make your lengths as long as you want bessey do nice ones in the states much cheaper than buying off the shelf clamps.

Finally built mine today. But then I had to hang it 10 1/2 ft in the air so my clamps didn't drag the ground lol. I know, I know, why do I have clamps that are that long? Believe me it is not simply because the pipe comes in ten foot lengths, lol. I build custom barn doors and the one I'm working on currently, is 112 inches tall, so several 120 inch pipe clamps is not unreasonable, in fact it's necessary, lol.

Can’t reach my rafters to put the short ones up and the 12 foot pipes are too long anyway. I’ll put this on a workbench, along with bar clamp and c clamp storage.
