A-MA-ZiNG! Great questions for women in male dominated businesses. One of the best Mark Bowden interviews I’ve seen. Keep it lady!

Wow. I'm a few moments in and, as an obsessive viewer of the Behavior Panel, I already love Mark. I LOVE how he said, basically, that your greatest weakness isn't always your greatest strength - and not wrapping all that up with a pretty little bow.

Fascinating conversation! I love how you take the opportunity to ask Mark for personal advice. And by opening yourself up, somehow you speak for your audience. Thanks Hala!

Great conversation and thank you both for this interview. Mark is brilliant and communicates in a way that makes what he's talking about comphrehensible by nearly anyone, without standing behind jargon and 'big' words. Tala, you're a very bright and engaged interviewer and I can understand your difficulty/frustration with being taken seriously as the professional woman you are. I too, am petite, nice, etc., and it is challenging, especially when having to function in an older, established 'good ole' boys club' business environment. I have found that it takes hard work to exude the confidence necessary in order to have 'presence', without coming off as a jerk. It's a fine line. Yes, physical size does initially help create 'presence', but at the end of the day, I think it's the energy, and often the non-verbals we send out, that helps most.

2:05 did i hear the word 'optics' being swallowed? 3:25 'optical' idea confirmed. 4:35 This has been a topic (of diagnosis if you will) of this 'schizophrenic' society by anthropology professors. 30:50 Native-American proverb: (instead of asking 'How are you?) How is you 'inner weather'? 40:00 Business cards? 48:40 I can't disagree with going just that little over the 2nd circle, the 3rd circle can either mean 'faking' it or being agressive..to me.. 55:00 Under-promise, over-perform. 1:00:00 If you have no inate sense of what is morals, you're either in trouble, a manipulator or the opposite of a loner. Their is no 'moral high-ground? Well let me just go around, influence everybody and in about 10y time: watch me rob a bank (caricature) while everybody just let me run around the place as if it was my living room; PS: i used this caricature because this actually happened here. The truth is underated. + 1:00:00 Why is Mr Bowden going over the time he has been paid for? 1:12:00 Great advice!

I am trying to watch, but find it very annoying that you describe everything with “super” as an adverb. It is super annoying. Sorry, but can’t watch.
