Making a rocket stove with folding legs and removable pot support
I've seen a few rocket stove builds but never felt the need to build one until camping overnight in an area with only little sticks for firewood, I built it this way to keep it compact.
It works fine without a lid for the stick hole or an inlet air damper, but these can be added later if required. It only took a big handful of sticks to bring a pot of water to the boil and cook some 3 minute noodles, but did take some stoking, a fire grate would probably help.
Unfortunately my local steel supplier didn't have any rusty tube, Vinegar is excellent for removing the zinc coating, but limited time and vinegar meant I had to grind it off near the areas to be welded.
