Excellent tutorial, Thank you for your time and effort to make it. I believe you just forgot to mention that the curve is scaled down (may be to 0.06) in the Radius window in the Archemedian settings inside the curve spirals setting window at the 2 minutes mark of the tutorial. Thank you.

Thanks. Yes, I didn't actually mention it, I just made the assumption that people would watch the video and see what I was doing. I will keep this in mind for other tutorials.

1:59 Lol!!! How the HECK did your spiral magically snap into the shape?... mine just stays as the big circle... :(
@JSAbbott

It didn't snap into the plane, it simply appeared at the 3D cursor just like the plane did. If you mean how did I get the spiral - I explained it in the video. You need to make changes in the values of the pop-over panel (lower-left corner).

I've never tried exporting the curve modifier as a gltf. I did find this thread that should help you though: blenderartists.org/t/export-bezier-curve-animation-as-gltf-and-or-fbx/1151423/3

What if you don't enable auto smooth? Great tutorial as usual.

You don't need to enable it if you do not want to but the scroll will not look as smooth.

If you convert the grid into a mesh (object mode > right-click > convert-to) then you can use edit mode to change the scale of selected faces/vertices. (For best results, try using proportional editing.)

My plane changes a size, why?

What do you mean it changes size? Unless you have changed the scale of it, it shouldn't change size.
