Prepare your flowers:
Red prestige roses
Statice fine white
Statice blue
Ruscus Italy fine
Start with creating the main base with 3 pcs of Ruscus Italy by crossing them in a spiral pattern.
I am shortening the stems so they are not in my way when creating a bouquet.
Start adding the first rose. Then statice fine. Bear in mind, always adding stems in the same direction-spiral technique. Take off all leaves and extra stems below your fingers. Next rose. And more statice white. Now statice blue. Regularly keep turning to see what and where you need to add something. Take off leaves of the statice as it would rot in water. Gently move the statice blooms in different directions. Make sure there are no roses or any other leaves below the spiral. Adjust the position of blooms by turning and lifting them to the right place.
Aim for a mushroom shape. Keep adding flowers and greenery, making sure to arrange all the stems in the same direction using the spiral technique. You can secure roses in place by firmly intertwining the stems with each other. Keep checking the height and adjusting. No leaves below the place, you are going to tie flowers. Shorten all the stems to the same size.
Now, it's important to carefully cut the stems at a 45-degree angle using a sharp knife to make it easier for the stems to absorb water.
This tying method, I have learned from a Swedish master florist, is a game-changer!
The leftover band piece, that you end up with, is only 3 cm long.
After you have tied your bouquet, you can still gently move around the heads of your blooms to make the spacing between the flowers perfect.
