Just what I needed! I recently bought an authentic 1940s curtain with pink flowers and green leaves on a gray background. I wanted a matching rug, but finding one to match an 80 year old curtain would be impossible. Now I can make my own to match! Thank you!

This gave me an awesome idea for the interior of my future campervan project. Instead of pink I might use a mix or orange, yellow & white to make it look more like a classic 1970s shag carpet

Thanks for this great idea. I will be moving into a rental flat and the carpet is awful so I need a cheap way to cover it until they can change it and i'm so not buying extra large rugs for £100's of pounds so i'm going to give your second option a go and once dry gonna stick it down using carpet tape so it stays in place as it's gonna be really large. Not other videos like this so i'm really grateful to see how this has come out without having to sew anything.

@@JenniAndDanny if you mix super glue and baking soda it makes it a bondo. Drys very quick. A lot stronger

Omg yes thanks I saw a tiktok of just little bits of making a cool rug and this is the way that did it I couldnt find any tutorial on doing it this way everything else was hole punching or tufting I'm going to be able to make a nice one now thanks so much even though I'm late to the party

Love using the fabric idea. I bought a piece of fabric that is short black fur. I was thinking of a pillow cover, but after a saw the fur fly everywhere as he store attendant cut my piece, I have not been to keen on getting the project out of the bag. It seems like spraying the glue on the wrong side like you did might keep the fur from fuzzing off long enough to make a rug like you did, or a pillow cover or whatever. I can’t wait to try it.

Very easy! -material (used as rug) -batting -sheet -rug stoppers Glue all those back to back & you're done!

I’m not sure I just found a white fabric that was soft. I will say it has a slight curl to the fur not straight like most fur.

+stephanie ramos which rug? I washed the white one on delicate and hung it out to dry. The pink rug I put my washer on hand wash and also hung it to dry! Both fully entact

I also liked how it looked still looped before you cut it it .... thought; I might try pinning down a large heart shaped template and only shagging either the heart shape or vice versa shagging out the frame of the heart..... or maybe like 3 medium sized hearts ...., love the colors you chose

I over did it with yarn so I used 6 jumbos but 3 jumbos should be enough... I’m not sure how big the rug is I’ll measure and put in the description soon
