I love your videos so much - you explain what you do so casually, with just enough info about the actual craft products, that I feel I can take your examples and apply them to literally any costume. When I have the time this December to finally start my Valkyrie Mercy cosplay, I'll definitely be coming back to this vid for inspiration and guidance for making her staff.

ZONBELIEVABLE!!! another great build. I like how fitting the diet snapple bottle was for this weapon. When confronted with an enemy, you snapple it with the blade and make et di.

My favorite Fallout weapon from the series is the recharger rifel, The super mutants fire hydrant maul, The tarantula, and nuka grenades. I have videos on the rifel and grenades have not done a video on my hydrant maul yet. Suggestion if you want to make your prop look like its on fire install a battery operated fan in the tanks with a tube running across blade with fire colored lightweight fabric attached over the top in uneven strips the fan would blow the fabric to create the illusion.

Favourite weapon from the fallout universe would have to be the Wattz 2000 laser rifle as a 1st and to top it off the original flamer from fallout 1 & 2 that burst fire effect and sound effect makes every moment a special moment when cooking steaks for the fam oh yeah I'm a cannibalistic raider cosplayer so I'm adding so Nuka-Cola to the steaks for that fruit kick.

Could you explain more how you attached the "stuff" to the sword part? At 4:33 it just kinda skips ahead and doesn't show how the different tanks were secured to the hilt.

Hey Zonbi! I'm just curious: about how long do you think this took you? I've been working on myself and I'm getting frustrated with his long it's taking. Granted, I've got kids and other stuff causing a lot of interruptions, but I know you work a demanding job, so I have to imagine your time is equally pressed.

When dremeling/sanding the eva foam indoors, do you find the dust spreads much?
@GraceWillow
7 жыл бұрын
I make sure I have good ventilation where I'm working and wrangle my cats into a room on the other side of the house to keep them away from the foam snow doom. I do my dremmeling as fast as I can, and then sweep up/clean up right after. If it's a bigger job I usually do it outside or in the garage.
@andrewgiglio
7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for such a quick reply. What little I have done sanding eva with rotary tools or a mouse sander I usually do outside. I have seen a number of instructional videos depicting makers doing so indoors so I was wondering if I was missing out on A/C when I didn't have to be. My favorite detail on this project was wrapping the sword handle with those traditional twists.
