Tip: You could bevel the vertex with Ctrl+Shift+B and change the profile to make the rounded corners faster, idk if the topology would be good though

Instead of hiding all of the mesh you can just hit the "/" key in your numpad to enable focus mode on the object that is active or selected then press it again to leave

Okay small detail. The bezel and notch is stick up from the display. whereas it should be flush with it because both the bezel and display are under the same sheet of glass. Great tutorial none the less.

01:37 If your back isn`t empty: 1) Go to the right workspace menu (there are all the 12 little symbols) 2) Choose the red picture symbol (one above the last red transparent symbol) 3) And click "Side" to "Front"

at roughly 3:12 you instruct to hold control and right click 2 verticies, but instead of selecting them it creates new verticies. if I left click them it selects them, but when i delete it deletes most of the plane.

The step at 5:03 seems to be not working for me, the moved vertices don't close that gap in the middle. I have to pull them a little further over to close the gap, but then the next step (closing the gap at the top by extruding that vertex) doesn't work. Can anyone help me?

While I love this tutorial one of the problems is the text showing buttons pressed is white often this text is over the blueprint so if you are having trouble and you want to see a section again to see which buttons were pressed you can’t

When he made this tutorial, he rightly assumed that the viewers have basic knowledge of blender, otherwise it would've been labelled a beginner's tutorial, which it is not. Try some other basic courses from his or any other channel to understand the tools and stuff.😇

Topology is screwed up(buttons holes are just a hell for any perfectionist lol). Iphone was used as ref, but u have made something different, i gues there is no phone with such glass over display. I mean, this tut is ok to see how the basic modeling tools are working in blender, but nothing more.
